1. Booking Process

To hire a skip, you must complete our online booking form or contact our customer service. Upon successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your hire agreement.

Availability: Skips are subject to availability; early booking is recommended.
Reservation Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of the confirmation email.

2. Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and online payment systems.

2.1 Pricing

Our skip hire prices are transparent and include delivery and collection. Additional charges may apply for oversized skips or extended hire periods.

3. Rental Period

The standard hire period is seven days. If you require the skip for a longer duration, please contact us to arrange an extension.

Extensions are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

4. Delivery and Collection

We strive to deliver and collect skips promptly at the agreed-upon times. In case of delays, we will notify you as soon as possible.

4.1 Delivery Requirements

Accessible Location: Ensure the delivery site is easily accessible for our delivery team.
Permits: You are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits for skip placement.

5. Use of Skip

You must use the skip responsibly and in accordance with local regulations. The following items are strictly prohibited:

Hazardous waste, including chemicals and asbestos.
Electrical appliances containing Freon.
Tyres and batteries.
Alcoholic beverages.

Failure to comply may result in additional charges or legal action.

5.1 Allowed Materials

You may dispose of the following materials in the skip:

General household waste.
Construction debris like bricks and plasterboard.
Garden waste and green materials.

6. Responsibility and Liability

You are responsible for ensuring the skip is used in a safe and lawful manner. Elephant and Castle Skip Hire is not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from misuse.

6.1 Insurance

We recommend that you have appropriate insurance coverage for the items you dispose of. Elephant and Castle Skip Hire is not responsible for the loss or damage of property.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

If you need to cancel your skip hire, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee.

7.1 Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed for cancellations made within the stipulated time frame, minus any applicable fees.

8. Modifications to Terms
